Discovery Education has made available to school systems nationwide a free ESSER Funding Guide. Designed to help school systems maximize funding available to them through the single largest investment in primary and secondary education in American history, the guide is available here.

With the clock ticking for school districts to use their funding before the September 2024 deadline, Discovery Education seeks to help districts make the most of this generational opportunity. Among the questions answered by Discovery Education’s ESSER funding guide are:

• How much ESSER funding is still available?
• How can federal stimulus funding be used?
• How can states and districts sustain their ESSER investments after funding has run out?

“It is imperative that remaining ESSER funds be spent on innovative, sustainable investments that meet the significant post-pandemic needs of students and leverage the digital infrastructure school systems built during the pandemic,” said Discovery Education President Kelli Campbell. “Our new ESSER Funding Guide offers readers a roadmap for doing this in a way that maximizes the unprecedented funding opportunities now available to school systems across the country.”
