Do Something Awesome; Share With A Friend Who May Benefit

Share on LinkedInShare on FacebookShare on X (Twitter)Share on PinterestShare on Email

Israel Cook is the lead author and founder of Princess Planet; he started this journey a few years ago because of his daughter. He saw a large void in the princess characters she loved and the lack of diversity that was available in the marketplace. From that point on, he decided to be part of the solution and chose not to wait for other companies to invest in the next generation of princess lovers.

“Any parent with a daughter can relate to the trouble of finding children’s content that will provide them with ‘true’ cultural diversity. I started Princess Planet so our daughters can see themselves, their friends, and their classmates as princesses” (CEO of Princess Planet, Israel Cook).

Princess planet is a new brand of children’s entertainment. Their goal is to ensure that children have access to culturally diverse content in their daily lives. They recently launched three books, just in time for the holiday season and more Princess Planet products will be available shortly.

The Princess Planet literature premieres with two story books and a coloring book, which are currently on Amazon. The books introduce sixteen unique characters from Princess Planet. Each character is imagined with both magic and realism. They are created in a world that is as scientific as it is colorful, adventurous, and fun. All of the princesses’ stories are rooted in the realities of geography and history. They all reflect a love of learning and an appreciation for language, diversity, and culture.

Fun fact:
Each character was created by real women from all over the world whose goal is to help empower and celebrate diversity. Each story helps to increase cultural pride, inter-cultural understanding, inner beauty, and self-worth.

Israel understands that so many cultures are underrepresented or misrepresented in children’s entertainment. So Princess Planet’s goal is to create books and toys that celebrate diversity without stereotyping culture and ethnicities – products that both parents and children will equally love. Please support the Princess Planet cause by spreading the word, visiting the site at www.PrincessPlanet.com and buying the books, which can be found online at www.amazon.com/author/princessplanet.

How you can help:
If you found this initiative as moving as I did, here are ways you can help share this story and these unique products: We need your help to get the word out. We recently premiered sixteen authentic princess characters created by women from across the globe, who aim to empower and celebrate diversity. Our products help increase cultural pride, inter-cultural understanding, inner beauty and self-worth. We are launching our picture books, coloring book, and clothing line this holiday season. In order to raise the funds needed to launch our products and e-commerce website this holiday season, we are currently running a GoFundMe campaign, which we have extended in order to get last minute support. We are also developing many other products that will expand our brand, like software applications, instructional videos, accessories, and dolls. You can also find more information on Facebook and on the home of Princess Planet.
