Do Something Awesome; Share With A Friend Who May Benefit

If you have not heard of Educents.com, and you are a parent, teacher, or homeschooler, please take a minute to view their site. They are a flash deal website that offers educational products at massive discounts. As everyone knows, educators spend a great deal of money of out their pockets, and this is a great place to save BIG.

Today, they are featuring Family Field Guide Sets from Workman Publishing. 33% off the retail price and I love these cards. You can find the deal here: https://www.educents.com/national-deals/deal/history-nature-fandex-sets

Why I love these cards:

1. Variety: The set offers a wide range of 6 flexcards and the content is applicable to English, Science and Social Studies. These cards include trees, mummies, bugs, butterflies, mythology and dinosaurs.

2. They are eye-catching and fun to hold: Kids will love flipping through them due to the structure and design. The pictures are beautiful and one card simply makes you want to look at the next card.

3. The content: The content of each flexcard is enormous. Students will be motivated to use them because there are so many new things to learn. For example, on the bugs flexslider, I couldn’t believe how many bugs I have never heard of before, and with each turn myself, I learned more. I was motivated to learn more because the cards are quite unique.

4. They are great for reports: If a student is working on a report specifically on one of these topics, they will have a great deal of information right on hand. Instead of having to research each one online individually, students will have hundreds of easy to read cards right on hand.

5. They are great for ESL students: These cards have images, words, and students can hold them. They can be used as conversation starters, launch background knowledge and be used as a tool when scaffolding material. ButterflyFandexSmaller

Be sure to go through the cards before sharing them with your kids or students, to assure they are age appropriate due to the content (for example, the mythology cards have images of semi-naked statues).
